Louis Vuitton Is Launching A Timeless Y2K Fashion Collection

The French luxury brand is reviving its Monogram Vernis and Monogram Denim designs with a range of leather goods, shoes and accessories launching on New Year’s Day, backed by a digital campaign featuring four performers designed to appeal to the Gen Z consumers who have embraced the aesthetic of the early 2000s.

The Monogram Vernis collection launched in 2000 and the Monogram Denim followed in 2005. Prices for the LV Remix collection range from 295 euros for the Pochette Multiclés 4 Vernis keyholder to 3,500 euros for a Coussin PM bag.

The Noé and Speedy bags are offered in Monogram Denim canvas and the Micro Alma, a smaller version of the style that was originally popular with celebrities from Paris Hilton to Blake Lively, comes in blue, pink and yellow patent leather.

They are joined by new shapes including the Capucines East-West and the Twist West — both featuring an elongated frame — and the Twist Little, a compact bag designed to go from day to evening.

Among the shoes in Monogram Denim are dressier styles such as the Nina Ballerina and Archlight slingback, along with the more casual Helios Espadrille line that includes wedge and flat sandals, and a classic espadrille.

Sneakers including the Neo Run Away and Time Out feature Monogram Denim or Monogram Vernis in pastel shades.
